Simple Cooking Part Ichi

Bulgogi Congee

I made this a couple of weeks ago when I first started my THREE WEEK root canal procedure -_- and I really couldn't eat too much of jack. You can make this with anything you have handy, which is what I basically did.

1 cup of rice
couple of eggs
green onions
bulgogi
ground turkey
chicken bouillon/broth

I made the bulgogi in a separate pan from some frozen marinated bulgogi that I had available in the freezer. In a separate pot I took a cup of rice and rinsed it briefly. After that I filled up the pot with water and let it come to a boil, then allowed it to simmer. I used fresh ground pepper, white pepper, and a rosemary garlic seasoning to flavor my congee =) I threw in the left over ground turkey that I had from my mabo tofu ramen as well as the chicken bouillon. Once the congee started to get thick enough I tossed in a couple of eggs to slow cook. I wanted the eggs to be a little runny so I tried not to cook them too much. After I felt it was about done I slivered a stalk of green onions and mixed it all together.

Bulgogi on top and done!

I'll put up a couple other simple recipes I've made recently~
